Greg received his BSc in Human Kinetics from St. Francis Xavier University. He graduated with first class Honours among the top of his class, with his thesis research pertaining to physical activity adherence. He has worked in the fitness industry for nearly 10 years as a Personal Trainer and Kinesiologist, with specialization in physical rehabilitation and exercise programming for special populations including those with multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's, chronic pain/injury, osteoporosis, scoliosis, pregnancy, cerebral palsy, and more.
Greg also has a great deal of experience working in elite athletics, using his background in kinesiology to help athletes not only reach their physical potential through strength and conditioning, but also remain injury free. He has worked with volleyball, hockey, curling, basketball, soccer and ultramarathon athletes, up to and including those in U-Sport varsity athletics.
Greg is passionate about helping people improve their quality of life with exercise, whether it be through pain reduction, improving athletic performance, increasing strength and endurance, or simply feeling and looking better. His functionality focused approach to exercise is appropriate for any fitness goal, age, or body type.. especially if pain or injury is what’s keeping you out of the gym.
Greg is passionate about the field of Kinesiology, and is actively working to grow the profession within the province. He sits on the board of directors for the Kinesiology Association of Nova Scotia.
