WHAT IS MEDICAL ACUPUNCTURE
Medical Acupuncture aims to bridge the gap between Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine. This approach is based on the concepts of neurophysiology, neuroanatomy, and pathophysiology. It is an effective, pain-free, treatment modality that involves the insertion of very fine needles into specific points along the body. This treatment approach may be used in combination with manual stimulation (“dry-needling”) or electrical stimulation (“electro-acupuncture”).
